Bazaar or Vogue

One of the most asked questions in my life is: Should I get this magazine or not?

I really want to get Harper Bazaar (AU) Sept'09 but I think I shall wait for Vogue's 50th Anniversary issue to come out this Wednesday.

There's Better Things to Come...

The blog has got a new header! Like it, like it?
I thought it's time to freshen things up a little bit; and I've just realized that it's been a year since I started Gloss Effect, so the timing was just perfect.

1st Anniversary!

A year had passed and thank you to everyone who has been visiting the blog (every now and then, if not regularly :D). If it hadn't been for you all, I probably had packed things up ages ago.
In terms of personal achievement, I think I am still far behind what I have in mind. Though it was mainly because of my own fault - blame the lack of updates, inconsistency and what not. But so far, I've been thoroughly enjoying my journey alongside the glossy worlds. After all, scrutinizing pages of magazines is just a (big) part of my life. Stay tune for more!

Tumblr + Links

I've also put the link to my tumblelog/Tumblr account. I figure out I won't be able to blog everyday and sometimes, micro-blogging is the best way to keep you update. Or at least, to keep you entertain with glorious amount of pictures, quotes, etc. So check my Tumblr (+follow!) for quick updates on glossy world and all sorts of things.
